Shivam Patel, DPM, is a practicing foot and ankle surgeon with the Los Angeles Institute of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Patel is qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and specializes in limb threatening infections, lower extremity trauma and reconstruction.
Dr. Patel completed medical school at Western University of Health Sciences where he graduated with high honors as Class President. He completed the bulk of his clinical training in the Los Angeles County healthcare system before going on to UCLA, where he served as Chief Resident of the three-year podiatric surgery residency with added credentials in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Patel continues to advance his profession through his research in artificial intelligence in aiding the early diagnosis of lower extremity trauma and his work in the community. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, cooking, long hikes and travelling with his wife.
